Job Description:

The successful candidate must have general knowledge and experience with Information Technology, in particular TCP/IP networking, security principles and a proven ability to relate disparate information to draw conclusions.


  • Work as part of a global team of operators providing 24×7 monitoring of a complex environment
  • Operations/Monitoring: Monitors systems using documented procedures. Monitors / executes backup jobs
  • Assess error messages
  • Triage concurrent security & operational incidents
  • Perform day to day tasks using a variety of consoles and monitors – including Security Incident & Event Monitoring (SIEM)
  • Generate ad-hoc reports
  • Report any vulnerabilities and/or threats to corporate networks
  • Assists in the creation of Job Flows and Create Procedures as needed
  • Timely recording of all issues in ticketing system and documenting updates to tickets of progress and resolution
  • Ensures clear and accurate escalations to support teams, in accordance with the escalation process
  • Produces clear and accurate communications/status reports and distributes in a timely manner

Required Experience:

  • 1-2 years of Experience in a 7×24 Operations Center
  • 1-2 years of Experience on Security Analytics
  • Knowledge of batch processing, job scheduling
  • A basic understanding of security, web-based and infrastructure vulnerabilities A basic understanding of SSL and Access Management System
  • A basic knowledge of network devices like Firewall, Routers, Switches, IDS/IPS, Load Balancers etc.
  • A basic knowledge of web server technology (e.g. IIS, Apache)
  • A good knowledge of Windows systems and AS/400
  • Proven experience reviewing and analyzing event logs
